As someone who has followed BGP closely since even before it was a public company, my jaw dropped when I read the WSJ story.

Change the logo colors?? Send out coffee coupons??

It DOESN"T MATTER whether or not we think investors ought to support AMZN's strategy. The fact is that they are, and there's no particular reason to believe that this will change soon. Perhaps there is really very little that BGP can do to respond to AMZN now (although I think there is). Perhaps that's why DiRom cashed out.
