hum....AMD keeps making market share gains, too bad they can't make money. Also, hope AMD's chips support RDRAM, since they were #1 in JAN.

12:48 ET Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) 17 11/16 -7/16 (-2%): According to market research firm PC Data, company's AMD-K6 chip outsold Intel's (INTC 119 5/8 -8 1/8) products in the U.S. retail market in January. AMD's K6 accounted for 43.9% of all desktop PC processor unit sales in January, while Intel had 40.3% of the market. AMD was able to knock Intel out of the top-spot for the first time as a result of robust sales in the sub-$1000 category.
