AVANTGO RECEIVES TWO AWARDS FROM TAP MAGAZINE

SAN MATEO, Calif. - February 26, 1999 - AvantGo, Inc., the authority in
managing mobile information, today announced that it has received two
awards from Tap Magazine, the only print publication written exclusively
for Palm/Pilot users.

The number one resource for Palm/Pilot users, Tap Magazine

issue 1.5, Tap granted its coveted “Top Pick” award to AvantGo in the
