As a suggestion: You can go to major airline sites and most offer efares, which are weekly bargains on unsold seats. This week I could have traveled Denver-San Francisco for $139 RT. But, you must be able to travel on short notice. The Airlines will send you a weekly e-mail listing the bargains.
