Thanks for your insights. Seems like you might be on to a winner here. I was in Calgary about a month ago though, and a friend had purchased a computer and was logging onto the internet with some free service. I don't recall that it was named 3com, I actually thought it was something from the Uof Calgary, but at the same time I didn't pay its name any attention because I was SO unimpressed with it. When he first signed on, he had to keep dialing for 10 minutes cause the server could only support so many users, then when we did get on, we got bumped off twice, having to wait to log on again.

As I said earlier, I don't think this experience was with the Cybersurf company 3com (?), but I hope "free" dosen't mean low level of service. We all get free TV with an antenna, but how many people pay for cable...Just MHO....
