I don't think North Face is a good long-term play. Personally, I think it's just a fad that will pass away. If the company wants to succeed, it needs to expand its product line. I think the need more than just jackets, fleece, and bags. The company also depends too much on its Tekware. I feel the lack of cotton products detracts some consumers. The North Face is also dependent on its military contracts for its tents and other gear. The government demand is erratic.
