I do own the stock. I sold covered calls. As I mentioned in past posts I'll be writing calls for a long time to get even with ABTX. Good to hear the guns were checked at the door. Had I been there it would have been easy to pick me out, what with coiled rope and all. From what I've been able to make from news reports is that Mr. JT was more interested in trading the company stock then running the company. I am especially critical of acquisitions without bringing accounting up to date. When one buys a company, one closes the old books and opens new books in line with ones own systems. No? Perhaps, had the accounting procedures been properly coordinated, the company would have easier to sell. I have also been critical of JTs misleading comments regarding the health of the company. His statement that conditions were on track with expectations was not reflected in the fall earnings statement. Why the LV Jail? The Henderson jail can't hold me. bd
