Strikes me as quite similar to gwx in a couple of ways - roughly half owned by bigger outfits - Thyssen MC and axas. Which has its advantages as well as disadvantages, i suppose eh. Also copper is nearly as out of favour at the moment as gas and oil -g- The silver in Churqui could be a nice kicker, though.
Wish i had the cash and the time to pay attention here, sounds quite undervalued. Apparently tme confirmed on the phone this morning that shares out are 13.6mil. 47% Thyssen MC, another 3mil or so closely held, by whom i didn't hear. Didn't hear anything about cash on hand. And assays expected Monday ... looking at the trading, it doesn't look like a 'sell the news' situation, there hasn't exactly been a run-up. Healthy-looking chart, imho, sliding off on low volume, some sort of a base forming around ~.24.
Immediate attention will be on Churqui, but Maureena sounds like it holds some promise [Gord, it's Quebrada Seca, the english translation would be 'Dry Wash', literally 'dry broken' - there are so many Quebradas Secas south of the Río Bravo that the name is quite meaningless except as a term descriptive of the terrain] thyssen.bc.ca |
