-- First Albany said it downgraded the computer networking group. -- Said 3Com Corps (NASDAQ:COMS) profit warning Monday raised "significant questions about near-term growth of networking. -- "Investment momentum in group has stalled," a report from analyst Matt Barzowskas said. -- The firm lowered Cabletron Systems Inc (NYSE:CS), 3Com, Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO), Ascend Communications Inc (NASDAQ:ASND), Shiva Corp (NASDAQ:SHVA), U.S. Robotics Corp (NASDAQ:USRX) and Xircom Inc (NASDAQ:XIRC) to neutral from buy. -- Maintained Bay Networks Inc (NYSE:BAY) at neutral.
