Mr Baker, I was not citing, more like recalling. Prior to the fall earnings report the stock took a downturn which was blamed on false rumors on the yahoo board. Something about restating earnings which JT stated to be untrue. JT added in that press release that the company was on track and inferred a positive spin to the upcoming earnings statement. The earnings statement which followed showed a surprise loss which JT blamed on accounting problems with the various acquisitions.

All of this is from my memory which, as my wife will confirm, is not always reliable. I will however, try to find the press release and post a copy.

My position in this stock is still long to the tune of 3000 shares for which I paid some $37500. I harbor no false expectations of a huge buy out or run up in price. I bought the stock because it was a good covered call write. I do believe the idea is to make money, not catch up. Maybe it will continue to be a good write at this level.

It is not my intention to sound negative on this company. But I do get a bit pissed off when some smug SOB sits back a talks down to me over a speaker phone while he cleans his fingernails or whatever else he does during a phone call. Oh hell, I just don't care for JT. There, I said it.
