Compaq Computer officers may sell shares
WASHINGTON, Feb 26 (Reuters) - William Strecker, an officer with Compaq Computer Corp. the world's No. 1 supplier of PCs, may sell 120,000 common shares, a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission showed.
Strecker, of Houston, Texas, Compaq's senior vice president for technology and corporate development, may sell the shares, valued at $5,113,692 through Solomon Smith Barney Inc., the form 144 filing released on Feb. 25 showed.
A form 144 signals an intention to sell stock but does not obligate a sale.
In a separate 144 filing released on Feb. 23, Enrico Pesatori, senior vice president of marketing, of Saratoga, Calif., said he intends to sell 20,000 common shares, valued at $952,500, through Lehman Brothers.
Another officer, Han Gutsch, senior vice president of human resources, of Houston, Texas, said in his 144 filing, he intends to exercise options on 20,000 common shares through Smith Barney that has a total value of $872,500.
Compaq officer John Rando, senior vice president and general manager of services, of Houston, Texas, said in his 144 filing that he intends to exercise options on 75,615 common shares through Salomon Smith Barney that have a total value of $3,327,060.
Compaq is based in Houston, Texas.
