aj-- if intc wants to really counter AMD, the only option left is to cut celeron and drop the prices on P2's and P3's down to match AMD. then AMD would hemorrhage money...and so might INTC, but then they could actually beat the company. whats going to happen is that this is going to drag on because INTC lets it. AMD is going to get stronger and INTC is going to feel the pressure. by the time they do follow the strategy i have outlined, it will be too late. all thats saving INTC now is the billions they have spent on marketing over the years. good luck to all, trey
