Approval could finally come next week from the Penticton city council fot the casino.

Sprott crossed about 60K shares today. Price started to move a bit. Subscribers to the Fred Glasgow's share re-distribution must pay for their shares by the end of next week - just a formality. This should provide closure for the distribution and will allow Sprott to publish a research report and for Sprott and its clients to begin buying in the open market, if they so choose. This is likely since the offering was rumoured to be oversubscribed.

There is a sketchy and unsubstantiated rumour that Lake City might be looking at 2 acquisition opportunities. We have always suspected that this would become a part of the company's business plan in 1999. This should only be regarded as a possibility until substantiated with some solid facts.
