Judy, Herein lies the problem: We are both talking about an investment using the word 'hope'. Yes, BBN might, or will probably, be a great stock at some point in our lives--in reality, over the past few years our dollar investment would have been better in a pass-book account. Sound investment philosophy does not include 'hope'. Graham and Dodd (1934) do not mention 'hope' as a reason for buying a common stock-- I think we missed the boat when we weren't sellers in the 40's... Roy
