Hi Colin, I have the same problem too. I get about 4 hours then all my L2 screens blank out, like you, the L2s still have the color bars, but no numbers in them. I run a 300 w/ 128 ram, and an Appian Pro card.
I remember a while back ago, they were having problems with people using too many L2 screens at one time. I may be wrong here but I got the feeling that the software isn't dumping the quotes in the tickers or such ????? Now I'm just speculating here !!! but would it be possible to set the software limits to hold quotes in cache or something (say system operations look at their resources, take an average per customer available, and use it as a limitation within the software, kind of thereby, not forcing but tech ENforcing :) a limited use ??? I really don't know :), I simply log off and back on. I usually have 6 half screen tickers, 4 L2s, the big block combo page (watch, hot, position, account (6-7 stocks ea in the hot & watch, and the L2s and tickers (1 symbol each) have say 3 active 2-8 mil traded and 3 small 200 - 400k ..split NYSE/NASD )), I use no Charting at all.
But 128 ram, it shouldn't be too much to ask for. But by around 1pm its time to shut down and restart. Oh, and using Win 98, so ... no answers but you have company.
