delete without opening.

if i do the latter (delete from pop3 server before downloading it), how do i know what i am deleting? is the subject visible?

dwane has provided an effective workaround for me. the only reason i say workaround is because it's clear to me that i should be able to right click on the darn mail to highlight it without opening it. that is only practical. for this service to be opening mail merely by clicking on it once is wrong.

do you have another suggestion, tom?
