No, I don't have any suggestions, I just don't see the point.

I (for a short time) had an ISP where I could look at my POP3 mail before it hit my system. This was a nice feature, cause I could delete large mail files and spam before it was transmitted to my computer. Unfortunately, they had other problems and I dropped them.

I have seen the command codes for the POP protocol somewhere, which, I believe, that you can use with any ISP to read headers first and then edit before downloading, but I don't remember where.

If you just don't want to see the messages which have been downloaded onto your computer, who cares, just hit the delete button as they come up.
