Stephen and Ramsey, I was quite surprised a couple of days ago to read something along the lines that "CDMA was banned in China." But I could never find any reputable news organization verifying this. I believe the rumour started via a Yahoo poster. As we all have probably seen, Yahoo message boards have consistently posted false information. So I figured that's all there was to it. But am I missing something? Were there any news stories specifically relating to a, "CDMA ban," coming out of China? If so, can anyone point us to articles of this specific nature. On the surface it would seem ironic that the Chinese would want to punish Loral(Loral is involved with Globalstar's CDMA project) because Loral was the company willing to give them the technology(or sealed products?) needed to fix their satellite navigation problems.
