I believe that these next two weeks (first two weeks of March) could be among the best two weeks we will
ever see in CMGI's stock performance. CMGI stole the show at the huge Robertson Stephens technology
conference this week in San Francisco. The media identified how effective CMGI was at getting its message
across to the impressed money managers and institutional investors in attendance. CMGI was featured as
the lead story in a very, very attractive news release to all of the key players in the market associated with
the internet. CMGI will be featured on CNBC Monday as the powerhouse behind some of the biggest and
best internet stocks in the market. The CMGI story will be told again to a very broad investment
community. CMGI will be one of the featured internet companies at the big Hambrecht & Quist conference
next week. CMGI will release phenomenal earnings which will blow the entire market away less than two
weeks from now. This could not come at a better time. The investment community is growing more and
more discerning as to which internet stocks to invest in. CMGI stands alone as being the most profitable
internet company and the most undervalued relative to the industry as a whole. It would seem to me that a
HUGE profit will be reported by CMGI for the quarter ending January 1999 based in part on the fact that
CMGI gained approximately 1.2 billion dollars in the time between November 1, 1998 and January 31,
1999 in its holdings of LCOS and GCTY . . . representing a very big component in the CMGI earnings
which will be significantly above anything the market could even possibly project without a degree of due
diligence. CMGI has announced this past week that not less than 4 companies involved in the internet which
CMGI has equity positions in will be going public soon - and if there is one proven constant within the
market today, it is that internet IPOs are experiencing very predictable success. CMGI has announced
recently that it is bringing streaming broadcast communications to the internet in a new venture which will
compete directly with Broadcast.com in this particular niche within the market. CMGI could very easily be
traded north of $200 in about 2 weeks. There are several very obvious catalysts for price gains in CMGI at
the moment. Even as the money managers and institutional investors were in transit today coming back to
their offices from the big technology conference in San Francisco, CMGI was one of only ten stocks on the
Nasdaq to finish the day with a $4 gain in a down day within the market today. More money managers and
institutional investors will become familiar with CMGI next week at the Hambrecht & Quist conference.
More retail investors will be reading the great article on CMGI over the weekend. More retail investors will
be seeing Monday the feature on CMGI on CNBC. There is nothing on the horizon that I can see which
would cause anyone to bet good money against CMGI price gains.

I am in CMGI now for the long haul - for the foreseeable future. The trend is undeniably up for CMGI . . .
and there are several big catalysts for this to continue, including the possibility for a phenomenal earnings
report after just 9 more days of trading.

Any dip during the next month or two should be looked at as buying opportunities . . . but these will be very
brief because so many others are watching for these opportunities and will take the opportunity themselves
whenever it presents itself. I will remain invested in CMGI for the foreseeable future with two components:

1. a core investment which will not be sold for any reason.

2. secondary investment levels which will be bought on short term dips and sold after major short term
extensions have been reached.

Things look great for CMGI for the foreseeable future. I will probably find myself carrying the secondary
investment dollars in addition to the core investment in CMGI for at least the next 2 or 3 months.
