Mary,

DSL, the only way to go !! I just got mine a few days ago, and absolutely LOVE it !!

I got in on a promotion package, so I got the network station equipment pretty cheap ($99), and the installation free. ( I did have to provide my own 10 base T card in my PC, cant remember what I paid for it though )

I use the 384 package ( 384 up and down load ), I think it was around $45 monthly with a year contract. I didn't go with the 768 package, because I didn't think the extra $50 a month justified it, and honestly, I don't think I really need it, this seems to fit my personal needs very well. ( I really dont do that many huge file Xfers ).

Also don't forget that with DSL, you dont have to dedicate a phone line to your computer, you can be on the phone doing voice or even dialed in with another computer via conventional modem, so you save the cost of additional lines.

At any rate, I love mine... just thought I would share the thoughts..

Steve
