The Codes and the MM's: I spent a little time last night reading through the posts of a very popular thread. The long and short of it is that there was some suspicion that MM's were lurking on the thread and deliberately 'pushing down' and/or otherwise manipulating some of the stocks that were recommended. Our codes therefore serve a dual purpose, which I never even foresaw.

If there is any credence to the allegations or not, I can't say, but our codes will protect our stocks from the prying eyes of the MM's. I don't think we ever had that problem but you know what they say about an ounce of prevention. Anyhow we saw what happened with BVSN and NTBK on Friday and NSOL on Thursday in the late afternoon. I'm sure if MM's were out there it would not have been that easy making the plays. But I thought I'd mention it and to those of you on SI who still do not know what the codes are, they are simply the watch lists stocks (both from the "earnings plays" newsletter and the daily watch list) for subscribers to the 'for pay' market gems service.

In order to keep things very evenly balanced on the thread, and we have done, we intersperse those picks with a generous amount of picks/analyses for everyone reading our thread. I'm not just speaking of my own picks, but those of other threaders who post on MG and have, on a daily basis, (i.e. NEWZ,VANS etc) come up with their own 'hits'.
