wrong James Allard.

there are (were) two people named James Allard working at MSFT:

one is the person mentioned in the articles you cite; he goes by the name J. he's a software guy who i believe got his degree at the University of Waterloo in Canada. he's been the driver behind a huge amount of MSFT's TCP/IP and WWW work, dating back to 1990. photo: 204.203.124.10.
