ECLP STONG BUY .. when a 'prospective stock' that has just been filtered for technical and fundamental strength undergoes the last test which is a run through the 'news' from the last few weeks it can actually relegate the pick to 'alternate status (i.e. recent downgrade despite the good results, or any other problems). On some occasions which are the ones I like the best (recently MIR,ODP,RINO are a good examples) they get more 'bonus' points and the stock usually has an even better chance to succeed. The upgrade and report for ECLP below did help swing the stock to 'preferred earnings play'

Everen Securities issued a Company Report on January 21, 1999 for Eclipsys Corp.
On January 21, 1999 Everen Securities analyst Bruce Hochstadt issued a 11 page Company Report
on Eclipsys Corp. Report highlights: 'The company 1999 and 2000 EPS estimates were issued at $0.63 and $0.95, respectively, verses $0.33 in 1998. An intermediate price target of $40 was suggested with a longer term price target being $59. The company was rated OUTPERFORM with a five-year EPS growth rate of 49% expected. Experienced management and a strong sales force were cited as positives.'
