Interesting....since I find the cable modem to be very fast also... but it is shakey....meaning...it goes off and on all the time...which makes me nuts...lol... and it does have periods where it slows down quite a bit...I am told..this is due to "usage" constraints.... I suppose I need to hop on a system in my area..and try it.. thanks...for the 'counter point'.....smile..Mary
