El: Going to spend some time checking out what they're talking about on the INTC thread - I just can't get it out of my mind about INTC and CPQ warning within a few days of each other last year. Even Kumar is putting a lot "faith" into INTC's quarter. CPQ has good support at 34 - the old December base. I think it will hold at 34, unless there's bad news from INTC. Next support below that is about 27.5 and then the dreaded 23.

Haven't come to any firm conclusions about the outlook for CPQ making $50 by 4/1 yet - will wait until after the weekend's thread discussions and weigh the evidence. I agree with M2 that right now, it seems that some on the thread (not you, though <gg>) may be cutting CPQ a little too much slack. One thing I have learned is that if you're going to "look at the bright side of life" when it comes to CPQ, it's well to remember that the guy singing that song was being crucified.
