Does anyone else find it interesting that ACTV is making Press Releases about speaking engagements? I just cannot help but think that there is more to the story. Remember when Liberty made their initial investment, and seemed to have control over ACTV's ability to announce news. Now all of a sudden Bill Samuals is releasing news about up and coming speaking engagements, both of which utilize the taboo word “Internet”. Remember that ACTV has always had a strict policy against hyping themselves along with the internet craze, or perhaps Liberty had enforced that policy. But it seems to me that the only reason for releasing news of up coming engagement is to get everyone's attention on them so when you release the follow on news you have the audience you were seeking.

I also received this e-mail from a good friend and a large holder of ACTV stock and thought I would pass it along. It got me a little more excited (like that is possible).

“My head is spinning trying to digest and fully comprehend what we have got hold of here. I think we are looking at the tip of the iceberg. The cats out of the bag-HYPER TV , and it is owned by us folks. “Anyone wanting to advertise, do e-commerce, via interactive tv please form a line at the left and we will be glad to draft an agreement for you, for a small fee of course”.
