As I recall, there was no mention in that article of Iomega having difficulty designing an MR drive; the specific reference was to designing a cheaper unit. That is, a cheaper unit THAT STILL CAN MAKE A PROFIT. We've all seen what low price alone can do for a company, eg., SYQT.
