On this particular thread, the ONLY person who consistently brings this issue up is YOU.

None of the rest of us care about VCR's, microwaves, etc. We ALL have consistently told you, on this thread, that articles which which talk about Y2K and household appliances drives us ALL crazy, because it minimizes the importance of the issue in areas where it really counts ... utilities, transportation, telecoms, medical equipment, manufacturing and process control industries.

Planes will NOT fall from the sky. Elevators will NOT crash to the ground. I for one, don't care if my personal PC is compliant or not. There are far more serious issues to think about.

When are you going to stop making posts on this thread about household appliances??? If you don't like when people write about this B.S. - send a letter to the editor. Do something constructive and write to the editor already. Don't waste our time here. This is one area that we all agree with you on.
