this article goes on to discuss many top web sites ... do the geniuses who want to go long amzn at this level read? do they find it odd that amazon, which they claim is so far ahead of all its competition in all the fields in which it competes, has had 9.13 mm visitors while barnes has already had 4.69 mm visitors despite the massive head start, the superior touch feel etc. ...

btw, cdnow, ntki each 2.69 mm visitors, bmg 1.5 mm (owned by bertelesmann) spree.com 1.4 columbia house 2.45 mm etc. etc. -- wonder what happens if borders ever gets its on line act together and/or spins off the on line store and advertises like mad, or perish the thought, barnes ever adds music and video -- as it has already stated it will do ... fear not amzn will just diversify into gardening, building materials and furniture ... buying into this company is sort of like buying into the first lamp company because you believed that electricity would come to play a central role in the world (it did) and that the first company would dominate the technology (it did not) ... smell the coffee team, the internet's free -- everyone can and will be using it IN CONJUNCTION with mail order catalogs, phone orders (pushing those 10 digits for 800 numbers can't be much harder than point and clicking), and retail stores ...

this is a buying opportunity for amzn bulls before it tests the $1000/share price ... trust me on that one
