John: After spending some time reading the INTC thread, I have gleaned the following pertinent info -

1) PC Data said Friday night that Intel's sales at the high end were very strong (this is before the P3, of course).

2 These 3 recent posts kind of sum up what they're thinking about over there (Paul Engel is the thread guru) -

3) Although a few were concerned about the immediate direction of INTC stock price, I didn't hear a peep about revenue shortfall concerns.

I feel a lot better about INTC not warning, but only a little better about CPQ's prospects for making the quarter.
