Perhaps in the next chapter of TRTRC someone wise may speak about inflation implications in historical context. This may help guide us along the journey.

I have my Retirement in 100% secure investments. 50% in bonds. Outside the retirement acct. I have an inflationary hedge with gold stocks and some timberland- also as much as 1/3 cash to take advantage of future investment opportunities. If inflation really takes off, I'll buy more high grade bonds, real estate, and gold with the cash- If inflation slows down (which I don't expect would last long), I will move some out of bonds and redistribute.

At least that's what my Road map here sez.<g>
