Robert, The All Mighty? Well, I used to have a girlfriend who called me "Mr. God," but it wasn't a compliment when she said it. <g>

1. Financials are up because "they can make money with higher rates and they can make money with lower rates." Touts have hit the media from CNBS to Barron's with that moronic story. The suckers are buying it for a day or two. Truth is, they can't really make money no matter what rates do unless the Fed is feeding them inside info for the trades they put on. These are hurting puppies without Fed bailouts. And that includes the brokers.

2. I am worried about this quarter at MU. I think the Lucky Goldstar strike gave them enough sales at decent prices so they will make a profit for the first time in a while. Yes, it will be a suckey profit, 2-10 cents, and fake, lots of inventory and receivables scams, but the blundering herd will hail the "turnaround of the chippies." MU will use it as a blugeon with which to beat the analysts who figured out their flim flam. Also, Muei's Xmas sales will be in this quarter. They will stink, but they'll be up sequentially. That could boost the stock for a week or so and then I plan to load up.

O.K., that's my story and I'm sticking to it. That being said, I'm sorry I didn't buy more puts when the bowwow was in the high 70s. Woulda, shoulda coulda. I am happy with the ones I bought, but there were many I missed. As is always the case.
