Skeeter, the issue isn't unit growth. Burke has been continuously claiming negative revenue growth. I have seen no data to support that, and he has admitted he has no data in support. Now we have conflicting statements concerning a Merrill report claiming anywhere from 1% - 3%, or 3% - 5% positive revenue growth. I saw yet another one today at CBS marketwatch claiming 3-5%. But none of these "sources" contain any data, nor any attribution for the the source of the data. Before you are so quick to defend Burke remember his failure to take into account recurring seasonality and channel stuffing when he gleefully and erroneously spoke of Dell losing market share.
