With mining claims on federal land, someone stakes them, claims them, and holds them as long as they pay the federal fee. Someone is still paying the fee for these claims to keep them active. That has been confirmed. They are not really an assest that IPM holds since they can't pay the fee, but some one is. I think Phoenix still legally holds these claims. Call the BLM in Phoenix and see who paid the holding fee.
