Hope your father pulled through. I had a surgeon who cut the intestine as well as the aorta and didn't know it and sewed me up. Had gangrene, kidney failure, lung failure and 6 more operations at a cost of about 225 thousand. Heart damaged during operation while being catherized to lower blood pressure, ?That is what is causing me trouble. The loss of legs I got used to pretty quick. The colostomy and heart are the two little aggravations now. Still don't know if living was a blessing or a curse. ggg
