Lynn,
I'm not up to date on AOL but I remember it was free for a great number of hours when I signed on to it. I'm still on AOL because my family likes it. The e mail address is the hook that keeps us here. I think there may be some promotional hours offered with new PCs by AOL. I don't think they would buy into a free unlimited year of service with one computer company. It would be great if Compaq could pull it off.
