What do you think the stock price will response if VLSI with the following conclusion on Wednesday : " We will reject the offer of $17 , but will accept anyone's offer of $25+ per share " ? Will the stock shoot up to $23 right after the announcement or drop to $13 ? If the stock shoots up to $23, then those who bought in at $15 on Friday will have a profit of $7+ , otherwise , if the stock drop to $13, then those who bought in at $15+ on Friday will have a loss of $2. Are those who bought over 15 million shares on Friday at $15+ FOOLS ?
