Well, I still suggest a boot menu. One to load the MS-DOS partition (Say 1Gb), and the other to run Windows 98 with the other 7GB+ partition. It would be a piece of cake to set-up. Let me know if you want to do it.

In regards to your other question, Windows 98 is more like Windows 95 since it does replace DOS as a complete operating system. You could still setup a DOS/Win 3.1 system, and put 95/98 on the same one. A little tweaking is required, but it's still possible. And rather handy if you have to work with all 3/4 OS's on a daily basis.
