LG is back, and in the saddle I see.

From my readings of the master of Volume, Joe Granville, (the founder of On Balance Volume)- What one must look for is volume preceding the price. A large negative or positive volume that does not correspond with the price movement is a method of forecasting the price movement. A small volume is of less significance.

The higher the volume, the more movement one should expect. You should look for those volume/price divergences. According to OBV theory, the magnitude of the volume makes no difference if the price doesn't move.

Ex: For entering a long position- You would look for heavy volume and a small price increase. This would be a divergence. The price follows the volume. Simple, huh. <g>
