I have read of it in historical reference. If memory serves me correctly, it is a homeopathic remedy. Most homeopathic formulations involve a serious dilution, drops of urine not shots, in a glass of water. Ingestion of this potion allegedly stimulates the body's response to waste compounds produced in response to physiological dysfunction???

This is indeed a strange approach. Check some homeopathic sites perhaps there is something or somebody there that can offer an informed explanation.

The medically naive are unaware of urinary-biproduct use in medical history. Enough said.
