Its actually very easy....

1. Security... Two things both NAT and Socks/Proxy servers provide firwall protection. The safest way to minimize impact is to install NETBEUI protocol on ALL computers. Bind Client for MS Networking to Netbeui only. NOTHING Will be bound to TCP/IP. TCP/IP set will warn you thats its not being used. Ignore the warning....

2. gateway server. Any machine can function as the gateway server. Linux or Netware are not recommended. The following recommended programs work fine on both 95/98 and NT. Take your pic. You need to add a second ethernet NIC to the machine functioning as a gateway.
