Herm, From your post
<CPQWINs Spells W - Defensive! CPQ is going down. $34 appears to be the first support. But, who can tell? That was one massive spike in the trading volume. WOW WOW! 74+ million shares and down 13% in one day! WOW! CPQ will most likely produce a dead cat bounce (trader's bounce off $34) and move sideways. Those PUTs really jumped up! Folks might want to assess their CCs. If 80% of the value is gone, they should cover and CC the LEAPs as their money grabber. Load up on the premies and sit back! It is starting to look good and cheap for this gem!NYSE: (CPQ : $35 3/8) >>

When I read this I thought, Is it going down more ? Maybe

You refer to Puts, Yes they should of increased in value. No where did I find any ref to this stock in any previous post, for your recomend selling covered calls or the buying of puts.

You refer "Folks might want to access their CC's. If 80% of the value is gone they should cover ....

The stock is North of $50 and its now $35
Ya just took a hit for 15 points and oh well maybe the cc brought in a few $, BUT YA LOST $15,000.00

One deal like this can screw up the intire month. No ?
