Hubert, always keep in mind that "normal" simply refers to a position on the normal curve. It is not really a synonym for "healthy." You are far from alone in needing some help in maintaining an equilibrium that accords with the larger society. I, myself, am prone to depression. I don't take antidepressants all the time, but when I feel the lights dimming, you'd better believe I don't let it trash the world for me. A funny story: Recently, I did start to slide and took prompt action. I mentioned on the same day to two lovers that I was back on Prozac. One lover's reaction: "Oh, good!" (He takes antidepressant medication.) The other lover's reaction: "Oh, no!" (He does not.) Actually, I had picked up on the shift in you; I felt shy about mentioning it though. Shall I PM you if I think you're "forgetting" again?
