Does anyone here relate? It is hard being a creative genius in a world of "conventionalists" whose only opinions are derived from the status quo.

Been there, done that. In spades.

Try getting so depressed that productive work is impossible--just when there's a restructuring going on and everyone is under a microscope. That's my bete noire.

Any time you want to talk, publicly or privately, just holler.
