RS for AMAT based on Friday's movement is now 95, with a B acc/distr rating. 57 .75 held several weeks ago and I thought for sure it was going to hold on Friday (it bounced hard off that price Friday am before taking it out later in the day). In hindsight an open order at its 50 day moving avg would have been smarter, if you felt the need to get in Friday.
I am expecting a snap back at least to $60 this week (I hope tomorrow). However, if there is Mon morning weakness, I have to buy more. Interest rates are not going higher, and I believe some areas of tech can reassert their leadership role....AMAT's selloff was over done, DELL splits this week...this should be a tradeable bounce to the upside. Either way, my money is committed to AMAT here. By the way, AMAT & AOL was mentioned positively on Wall Street Week.
