That definitely could happen. I don't remember which stock this was, but the Street was disappointed when a certain stock didn't split and the price dropped substantially because of this.

I'd hate to see this happen to Wal-Mart. It might have been a good decision not to split at $60-$70, but it's held very strong in the $80 now and I think a split now would really strengthen this stock, not weaken it.

But I'm sure they have smarter people than me making these decisions. Just hope they do the right thing, especially in today's market. But, whatever, I'm holding onto my shares of Wal-Mart.
