Not quite a 15% immediate return. You have to remember that Delphi is already reflected in GM's stock price. Therefore a distribution will knock about $14 dollars off the stock price on the distribution date. A good example to look at was when Ford spun off The Associates Financial Group to its shareholders last year. The stock traded considerably lower to reflect the distribution.
