Telecommunications Software Competence Euristix is an Irish software development company favoured by many of the world's leading telecommunications product developers to fulfil Network Management, Digital Telephony Signalling and Data communications project requirements. The company was formed in 1990 and has development centres in Dublin and San Jose, California. Euristix have previously been involved in a number of joint projects with the Department of Computer Science at UCD.
Euristix is a partner of Teltec, Sound Training Centre of Ireland, North West Labs Ltd, Sceenphones Ltd., and a number of other European companies in the new EU ACTS project RENAISSANCE on the use of high-performance services for interactive vocational training.
The Euristix arrangement is for the company to receive technical development support from Microsoft for the further development of its RACEMAN EMSX and IQ3 element management system products. The products are being developed for the NT server platform and have broad applicability across principal telecom access product domains that include xDSL, hybrid fiber-coax, fiber in the loop (FITL), and ATM, as well as the ability to digitally cross connect systems, Sonet ADM-based ring networks, and mobile base station network element infrastructures. -- Patrick Flanagan/New York |
