NW,
In a sense, I kind of got swept up into the general thread enthusiasm as we hit 50. That, combined with the fact that I, like most other longs on this thread, had ridden the wave down to the low 20s made me feel like I wanted more profit for my pain. Oh well, there's a lesson in everything you know. For me personally, this CPQ experience has taught me that I need to separate out a core position from trading shares. Ideally, the time to do that would be when I wasn't using the aqualung (as El says). Unfortunately, my average cost is now below the market price so I'm back in the wait and see mode. Assuming CPQ can recover from this latest setback reasonably soon, I've decided to dump at least half of my position once we reach say $48. Then, I'll ride the other half for the very long haul.
Thanks for the note back, and lots of luck to you with all your investments.
Regards,
JMaz,
