Kenya: OK so its a fundamental difference in their business stragedy(sp)? It was my understanding that a fear of reduced sales for the 1st qtr was driving the panic. If it is merely a matter that they are transitioning to the next chip improvement, wont there still be a market for the last generation. Seems like a lots of folks go out looking for a closeout deal from the retail dealers. That inventory is already on Compaq's books, yes? Anyway, don't want to waste everyone's time. There are a lot of much smarter people on this thread than me and I will undoubtedly learn a lot more by keeping my mouth shut and listening. Thanks for the reply. Colin
